Lesson 3 Secondary Directories – Not What You Thought They Were For!

Lesson 3 Secondary Directories

Hah!  I'll bet that your Google My Business Listing was more work than you expected!   We're now advancing to the secondary listings.  These are "not as important" but still critical online directories where your firm should be published. Let's split these into 2 types.  Industry Specific, and General. Industry Specific Directories are your Lawyers.com, AVVO, and all the rest of the attorney's directories.   We recommend that you be in ALL of them, perhaps not with a premium listing, but you should be there as an individual, and your firm should be represented. It’s the “other” directories that are less obvious that we are going to help you out with.  There are again, 2 types of secondary directories.  There are “Aggregators” and everyone else.  The key here is everyone else, buys their data from the “aggregators”.  That means you should not fall prey to the charlatans that promise you listing in 200 directories for only $149/month!   It means, that with our guidance, we will show you how to locate the aggregators, and input your firm information, in most cases, for free!
